Do I need loose LED bars when I buy a portable lightbox kit?
Check what the kit actually includes first. A pre-lit system may already contain its LEDs and power supply. Order separate modules only for a confirmed component need; do not assume the existing source needs replacing.
What should I ask the frame supplier before buying spare LED bars?
Request the existing source label, mounting detail, lens clearance, connector pinout and power requirements. Compare those with the exact candidate model; a similar bar shape does not establish an approved replacement.
Compare LED lightbox sources
- 20W rigid edge-lit bar: 470×24×16mm including lens, DC24V, 2200lm ±10% and 10°×40° optics.
- 12W dual-CCT rear-backlight bar: DC24V, 1320lm, 180° beam and 3-wire JST; select the CCT pair and separate control.
- 10W slim edge-lit bar: 360×23×16mm including lens, DC24V, 1100lm and 9°×50° optics.
Are these approved replacement LEDs for the supplier’s kits?
No direct fit or approval is claimed. These are independent internal sources, not complete frames or event booth packages. Confirm the intended build and electrical arrangement.
Before ordering
For the three featured bars: Verify DC24V, total load, pinout and polarity; external power is separate. The dual-CCT bar also requires a compatible 3-wire switch or controller, not included. The featured slim 10W bar permits at most 6 per run after wiring checks; do not apply that limit to other models.
