Frequently Asked Questions
How many lights do I need for a 10×10 trade show booth?
For a standard 10×10 inline booth, most exhibitors use 2–4 lights. Two lights work well for a simple fabric backwall; four lights are recommended if you have shelving, products on display, or want maximum brightness to stand out on a busy show floor.
What wattage is best for trade show booth lighting?
For most 10×10 booths, 25W (3250lm) per light is the sweet spot — bright enough to attract attention without creating glare. For larger booths (20×20+) or island setups, 50W (5500lm) linkable lights deliver the coverage and punch needed to compete on a large show floor.
Can I daisy chain trade show booth lights?
Yes — our 21W and 50W linkable arm lights support daisy chaining. The 21W model chains up to 10 lights from a single outlet; the 50W model chains up to 6. This is a major advantage at trade shows where floor outlets are limited and extension cords are restricted.
What is the best light for a fabric display or tension fabric backwall?
For fabric backwalls, we recommend a 25W or 50W arm light positioned at the top of the display, angled downward at 30–45°. The wide, even beam of our 50W model (5500lm) eliminates hot spots and illuminates the full graphic evenly.
Do trade show lights need to be ETL or UL certified?
Most major US trade show venues — including McCormick Place (Chicago), the Las Vegas Convention Center, and the Orange County Convention Center — require ETL or UL listed lighting for all booth electrical equipment. Our 21W and 50W linkable arm lights are ETL listed and accepted at all major US venues.
