Can a rear rail or bracket affect my lightbox LED layout?
Record the clear section around every rear rail and bracket. Keep LED lenses, connectors and cables clear of those supports. Check the illuminated print for shadows with the structure assembled; a clear central section does not prove unobstructed light at the ends.
Should a wide graphic use edge-lit bars or rear backlighting?
Compare both layouts using the actual frame depth, usable mounting positions and transmitting print. Edge-lit optics need a suitable light path; rear-mounted bars need enough distance to spread light across the face. Width alone cannot determine spacing, quantity or the correct power supply.

- 20W rigid edge-lit bar: 470×24×16mm including lens, DC24V, 2200lm ±10% and 10°×40° optics.
- 12W dual-CCT rear-backlight bar: DC24V, 1320lm, 180° beam and 3-wire JST; select the CCT pair and separate control.
- 10W slim edge-lit bar: 360×23×16mm including lens, DC24V, 1100lm and 9°×50° optics.
Can I approve a wide lightbox from a small printed sample?
Use the sample to shortlist colour and media, then test the complete width, corners and support positions with the proposed LEDs. Confirm the final print and structure together before fixing the bar count. Changing to a wider graphic does not establish compatibility with an existing branded lightbox.
Before ordering
For the three featured bars: Verify DC24V, total load, pinout and polarity; external power is separate. The dual-CCT bar also requires a compatible 3-wire switch or controller, not included. The featured slim 10W bar permits at most 6 per run after wiring checks; do not apply that limit to other models.
