AusRAIL and AusRAIL PLUS are rail-industry conference and exhibition activities. This selection helps independent booth-lightbox builders evaluate indoor printed graphics alongside the stand’s planned reflective floor finish.
Place the lightbox sample beside the actual floor finish
Use a representative printed graphic, frame depth, LED layout and driver with a sample of the intended floor material. View the combination from the expected aisle and meeting positions. Compare the illuminated graphic, its reflection and any visible source patterns together rather than approving the panel against an unrelated workshop background.
Document the graphic, light source and surface together
Keep the accepted print proof, floor finish, LED spacing and driver in the sample record. If brightness adjustment is required, test a compatible control arrangement before selecting it. Recheck the combined view when the graphic, finish or lighting layout changes; a module approved beside one surface does not automatically produce the same visual result beside another.
Compare LED lightbox sources
- 20W rigid edge-lit bar: 470×24×16mm including lens, DC24V, 2200lm ±10% and 10°×40° optics.
- 12W dual-CCT rear-backlight bar: DC24V, 1320lm, 180° beam and 3-wire JST; select the CCT pair and separate control.
- 10W slim edge-lit bar: 360×23×16mm including lens, DC24V, 1100lm and 9°×50° optics.
Does a rail exhibition qualify these modules for train or outdoor lighting?
No. This selection concerns independently designed indoor graphic lightboxes. It does not qualify components for railway vehicles, operational signalling, outdoor installations or safety-critical lighting. Review the chosen product’s environmental rating, voltage, mounting and connections for the actual lightbox application.
Before ordering
Verify DC24V, total load, pinout and polarity; external power is separate. The dual-CCT bar also requires a compatible 3-wire switch or controller, not included. The featured slim 10W bar permits at most 6 per run after wiring checks; do not apply that limit to other models.
Send the indoor-lightbox dimensions, print proof, floor-finish sample and viewing positions to discuss a suitable component comparison.
