The WSSC Sign Show and California Sign Association convention connect regional signmakers and suppliers. For indoor printed lightboxes, assess how the graphic looks when illuminated and when switched off. Compare all LED Modules below for your actual frame, printed face and operating conditions.
Approve the printed face in both operating states
Use the same assembled frame and graphic for the lit and unlit review. Record ambient light, viewing position and whether the LEDs are powered on. Ask the customer to assess lettering, image contrast and the unlit appearance rather than assuming a bright backlit sample describes every operating state.
Keep print choices separate from source adjustments
Have qualified personnel check mounting and wiring before the illuminated trial. Compare candidate sources in the complete build, then record the accepted print and LED configuration. If the unlit graphic is unacceptable, review the face material and print with the graphic supplier. Increasing LED output cannot change the appearance while the source is switched off.

- 20W rigid edge-lit bar: 470×24×16mm including lens, DC24V, 2200lm ±10% and 10°×40° optics.
- 12W dual-CCT rear-backlight bar: DC24V, 1320lm, 180° beam and 3-wire JST; select the CCT pair and separate control.
- 10W slim edge-lit bar: 360×23×16mm including lens, DC24V, 1100lm and 9°×50° optics.
Will a stronger LED source improve the graphic when switched off?
No. With the LEDs off, assess the printed face under the intended ambient light. Approve that appearance separately from the illuminated sample and retain both observations with the build specification.
Before ordering
Verify DC24V, total load, pinout and polarity; external power is separate. The dual-CCT bar also requires a compatible 3-wire switch or controller, not included. The featured slim 10W bar permits at most 6 per run after wiring checks; do not apply that limit to other models.
Send the frame drawing, printed-face material, viewing conditions, lit and unlit observations, proposed LED model and quantity through our contact page.
