Test the final printed information in its viewing position
Use the production graphic, intended frame depth and surrounding light. Check text readability and scan the printed code with the devices and distances your project requires. Record reflections, obstructions and bright or dark areas. A successful scan of an unlit print does not approve the illuminated assembly.
Compare lighting layouts without changing the print
Keep the graphic fixed while testing edge-lit or rear-mounted sources. The featured dual-CCT bar is direct backlighting; select its white-light channels with a compatible switch or controller. It is not an edge-lit bar or a video display. Retest whenever the approved lighting or graphic changes.
Compare LED lightbox sources
- 20W rigid edge-lit bar: 470×24×16mm including lens, DC24V, 2200lm ±10% and 10°×40° optics.
- 12W dual-CCT rear-backlight bar: DC24V, 1320lm, 180° beam and 3-wire JST; select the CCT pair and separate control.
- 10W slim edge-lit bar: 360×23×16mm including lens, DC24V, 1100lm and 9°×50° optics.
Does more lumen output guarantee QR-code scanning?
No. Print quality, contrast, reflections, position and the reader matter. Approve the actual illuminated display rather than choosing a module by wattage alone.
Before ordering
Verify DC24V, total load, pinout and polarity; external power is separate. The dual-CCT bar also requires a compatible 3-wire switch or controller, not included. The featured slim 10W bar permits at most 6 per run after wiring checks; do not apply that limit to other models.
