Which LEDs suit a printed information backwall?
Compare edge lighting and rear backlighting using lit dimensions, clear depth and mounting spans. Test the final print at full size to check uniformity across the information graphic.
How can fine lines and text remain readable?
Compare the actual printed lines, text and dark colour areas under the proposed light source. Excessive brightness can reduce contrast; a brighter source does not correct a low-contrast print.
Compare LED lightbox sources
- 20W rigid edge-lit bar: 470×24×16mm including lens, DC24V, 2200lm ±10% and 10°×40° optics.
- 12W dual-CCT rear-backlight bar: DC24V, 1320lm, 180° beam and 3-wire JST; select the CCT pair and separate control.
- 10W slim edge-lit bar: 360×23×16mm including lens, DC24V, 1100lm and 9°×50° optics.
What should I send for LED selection?
Send a final print sample containing fine lines and text, lit dimensions, clear depth, mounting drawing, connector photos and power labels. Calculate the load from the selected bars.
Before ordering
For the three featured bars: Verify DC24V, total load, pinout and polarity; external power is separate. The dual-CCT bar also requires a compatible 3-wire switch or controller, not included. The featured slim 10W bar permits at most 6 per run after wiring checks; do not apply that limit to other models.
