Compare the same assembly in both lighting conditions
Keep the graphic, frame and LED setting unchanged. Review the display with the intended room lighting on and off. Record reflections, washed-out details and dark regions from the intended viewing positions. Approve the conditions your project needs rather than a demonstration in a dark room alone.
Separate room-light changes from source changes
If comparing white-light settings, record each setting and repeat both room-light conditions. The dual-CCT bar is direct backlighting, not an edge-lit source; use separate compatible control. This indoor comparison does not approve outdoor exposure or a video-display application.
Compare LED lightbox sources
- 20W rigid edge-lit bar: 470×24×16mm including lens, DC24V, 2200lm ±10% and 10°×40° optics.
- 12W dual-CCT rear-backlight bar: DC24V, 1320lm, 180° beam and 3-wire JST; select the CCT pair and separate control.
- 10W slim edge-lit bar: 360×23×16mm including lens, DC24V, 1100lm and 9°×50° optics.
Does higher lumen output guarantee readable graphics in ambient light?
No. Print material, contrast, reflections and viewing position also matter. Test the finished indoor display with its intended surroundings before selecting the light source.
Before ordering
Verify DC24V, total load, pinout and polarity; external power is separate. The dual-CCT bar also requires a compatible 3-wire switch or controller, not included. The featured slim 10W bar permits at most 6 per run after wiring checks; do not apply that limit to other models.
