Test the printed material rather than its name
Record the substrate, print process and ink coverage for each sample. Inspect bright areas, dense printed regions and visible source patterns with the graphic fitted. Do not assume every textile, acrylic panel or film is suitable for backlit use or for the same mounting method.
Record material changes separately from lighting changes
When a different material needs a different frame or mounting arrangement, document that change as well. Keep the LED setting recorded for each trial. The dual-CCT bar is direct backlighting and needs separate compatible control. Approve the full sample before repeat fabrication.
Compare LED lightbox sources
- 20W rigid edge-lit bar: 470×24×16mm including lens, DC24V, 2200lm ±10% and 10°×40° optics.
- 12W dual-CCT rear-backlight bar: DC24V, 1320lm, 180° beam and 3-wire JST; select the CCT pair and separate control.
- 10W slim edge-lit bar: 360×23×16mm including lens, DC24V, 1100lm and 9°×50° optics.
Will the same print file look identical on different illuminated materials?
Not necessarily. Material transmission, printing and mounting affect the result. Compare physical illuminated samples under agreed conditions rather than selecting components from the artwork file alone.
Before ordering
Verify DC24V, total load, pinout and polarity; external power is separate. The dual-CCT bar also requires a compatible 3-wire switch or controller, not included. The featured slim 10W bar permits at most 6 per run after wiring checks; do not apply that limit to other models.
