Pop-up LED Floodlight — Wide-Angle LED Lights for Pop-up Display Stands

Pop-up LED Floodlight

A pop-up LED floodlight is a wide-angle LED fixture specifically sized and weighted for attachment to pop-up display frames — the lightweight steel tube structures used with curved and straight fabric or graphic panel displays. Unlike general-purpose floodlights, pop-up LED floodlights are designed with compact housings and lightweight construction that do not stress the pop-up frame or cause it to lean.

Why Pop-up Displays Need a Specific Floodlight

Pop-up frames are engineered for minimal weight. A heavy floodlight clamped to the top of a pop-up frame shifts the center of gravity and can cause the display to lean or tip. BOOTH LIGHTS pop-up LED floodlights weigh under 400g per unit, keeping the frame balanced even when multiple units are mounted across the top rail.

Pop-up fabric graphics also require diffused, wide-angle light to avoid hotspots. A narrow spotlight creates a bright center circle with dark edges on the fabric. A 90–120° floodlight washes the entire graphic panel evenly from a single mount point.

Mounting on a Pop-up Frame

Pop-up display top rails are typically 10–18 mm steel tubes. BOOTH LIGHTS pop-up LED floodlights include a clamp pre-set for this range, with a rubber-lined jaw that grips without scratching the frame finish. The clamp opens and closes with a single thumbscrew — no tools required.

Coverage by Panel Width

One 90° floodlight covers approximately 2.5–3 m of panel width when mounted 1.2–1.5 m from the graphic surface. A standard 3-panel curved pop-up (approximately 2.3 m wide) is fully covered by a single centered unit. A 5-panel pop-up (approximately 3.7 m wide) requires two units spaced evenly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will a floodlight damage my pop-up fabric graphic?

No. BOOTH LIGHTS LED floodlights operate at under 45°C surface temperature and produce minimal radiant heat. They are safe for use within 30 cm of fabric graphics at full brightness.

How many pop-up LED floodlights do I need for a 10-foot curved pop-up?

One 90° floodlight centered on the top rail covers a standard 10-foot (approximately 3 m) curved pop-up display. For brighter output or more even coverage, use two units spaced at one-third and two-thirds of the panel width.

Can I use pop-up LED floodlights on a straight pop-up display?

Yes. Straight pop-up frames use the same tube diameter as curved frames. The mounting process and coverage calculations are identical.

Do pop-up LED floodlights work with banner stands?

Pop-up floodlights are optimized for pop-up frame top rails. For banner stands (which have thinner, taller uprights), our dedicated banner stand lights or arm lights are a better fit.
