Make specification graphics readable beside material samples
Test thin section lines, dark texture images and white specification labels on the actual backlit print. A large illuminated picture and a narrow information panel can need different mounting spans. Confirm depth and lens clearance, then keep driver access available after the fabric is fitted.
Compare LED bars for the approved printed fabric
- DC24V linkable edge-lit bars: 212mm/9W, 319mm/14W or 480mm/20W for modular lightbox builds.
- 12W/18W DC24V MODULAP lightbox module: 470mm edge-lighting format for compatible fabric frames; verify the connector and fit.
- 20W DC24V rigid lightbox bar: 470mm, 2200lm ±10%, for tested indoor SEG and illuminated-sign layouts.
- 7W DC24V compact lightbox bar: 200mm, 770lm, 200×23×16mm body for short frame sections. Check the Molex 5557 / Mini-Fit Jr. connector family, mating pinout and fit before replacement.
How should I light a printed detail panel beside a material sample?
Use the final print to check small text and texture contrast at the expected viewing distance. Compare the 200mm 7W bar, 212mm 9W option and 470mm 20W bar against the available mounting space. Lighting a printed diagram does not demonstrate how a real stone, finish or facade behaves.
Can narrow and wide panels share the same power supply?
Only after checking DC24V requirements, total connected load, connector type and polarity for each selected family. Follow that family's connection limits. A limit stated for one linkable bar is not a limit for every module in this collection; plan accessible wiring and driver service space.
What measurements do I need before buying lightbox components?
Send the internal mounting span, frame depth, graphic opening, mounting drawing and connector photos. Include the driver label and planned module quantity. A finished stand's outside dimensions alone cannot establish lens clearance or compatibility with a supplied or rented SEG kit.
