Identify what the customer has supplied
Request photographs of the complete lightbox, its inside, LED labels, connectors and power supply. Record frame dimensions, face material, current lighting arrangement and the reported issue. Distinguish a replaceable component from a sealed or proprietary assembly.
Agree the job scope before selecting components
Decide whether the request covers a printed graphic, lighting components or a complete new assembly. Compare candidate bar dimensions, mounting, voltage, optics and controls with the documented construction. Obtain the owner’s approval for any proposed change before ordering.
Compare LED lightbox sources
- 20W rigid edge-lit bar: 470×24×16mm including lens, DC24V, 2200lm ±10% and 10°×40° optics.
- 12W dual-CCT rear-backlight bar: DC24V, 1320lm, 180° beam and 3-wire JST; select the CCT pair and separate control.
- 10W slim edge-lit bar: 360×23×16mm including lens, DC24V, 1100lm and 9°×50° optics.
Can these LED bars be fitted into any customer-supplied lightbox?
No universal fit is claimed. A lightbox may use proprietary wiring, integrated power or parts that cannot be serviced separately. Photos support an initial enquiry; the complete assembly still needs a compatibility review.
Before ordering
Verify DC24V, total load, pinout and polarity; external power is separate. The dual-CCT bar also requires a compatible 3-wire switch or controller, not included. The featured slim 10W bar permits at most 6 per run after wiring checks; do not apply that limit to other models.
