Choose fixed white light or two selectable white channels
Use a fixed-CCT edge-lit bar when the frame and graphic have an approved white tone. Choose a dual-CCT direct-backlight bar when the display needs two selectable white-light settings. These layouts place the LEDs differently: edge-lit bars project across the frame, while direct-backlight bars face the graphic from behind. They are not interchangeable without redesigning and testing the layout.
Approve the white tone with the intended graphic
Compare the same printed graphic under the proposed settings and the intended viewing conditions. Record the selected CCT variant, frame depth, optical arrangement and approved sample. A similar nominal CCT does not guarantee identical appearance across different bar models, materials or production batches. Keep replacement specifications with the finished display.
Compare LED lightbox sources
- 12W dual-CCT direct-backlight bar: DC24V, 1320lm, 3-wire JST. Select 3000K + 4500K, 4500K + 6500K, or 3000K + 6400K; compatible control equipment is required separately.
- 12W compact edge-lit bar: 313mm, DC24V, 1200lm ±10%, 9°×50° lens and 2-pin plug. Check the available frame length and connector compatibility.
- 18W extended edge-lit bar: 585mm, DC24V, 1800lm and 14°×50° lens. Check the Molex 5557 / Mini-Fit Jr. connector family and mating pinout.
Does dual-CCT mean continuously adjustable white light?
Each variant has two named white-light channels. A compatible 3-wire switch or controller selects them; intermediate blending requires a controller that supports mixing. The switch, controller and power supply are not included. Fixed-CCT edge-lit bars do not gain this function by sharing a DC24V supply.
Before ordering
These products are internal light sources. Confirm mounting space, graphic transmission, DC24V driver capacity, connector pinout and polarity. The 313mm bar is not dimmable and is listed for a maximum of six bars per run; verify the complete electrical design. Test the actual layout before ordering production quantities.
