Compare two products, not entire brands
This is a comparison of published specifications, not an independent side-by-side lighting test. It covers the BOOTH LIGHTS 21W clamp-on light with a 10ft cord and the Displays2Go black two-light set, SKU 21WLEDUNBL2. Other products from either supplier may differ. In particular, this BOOTH LIGHTS model is distinct from the separately listed 21W 2400lm standalone arm light.
What the current product pages specify
| Item | BOOTH LIGHTS compared model | Displays2Go compared set |
|---|---|---|
| Quantity and power | One light; 21W per fixture | Two lights; description specifies 12W per fixture |
| Published light output | Approximately 2100–2500lm | 3500lm listed; the specification does not explicitly identify whether it is per fixture or per pair |
| Color temperature | Choose one fixed 3000K, 4500K or 6000K variant | 6000–7000K listed for this model |
| Head adjustment | Swivel and tilt | Swivel and tilt |
| Clamp and cord | Clamp up to approximately 2in; 10ft two-part cord | Clamp up to 2in; 120in cord, described as two-part |
Two inches is about 5.08cm; 10ft or 120in is about 3.05m. These dimensions do not establish compatibility with every profile. The Displays2Go SKU contains “21W”, but its product description states two 12W lights; confirm the ordered configuration if the label or instructions differ.
Resolve output and connection questions before ranking brightness
Ask Displays2Go whether the listed 3500lm applies to each light or the pair. Until that basis is confirmed, do not halve it, double it or claim that either product produces more light per fixture. Even normalized lumens would not establish lux on your backwall: optics, distance, aiming, surface reflectance and hall light affect coverage. Higher wattage is higher nominal consumption, not evidence of a brighter or more efficient display.
The BOOTH LIGHTS listing includes a clamp, adapter and two-part power cord. Displays2Go lists an 18–28V voltage specification; do not treat that as permission to connect the fixture directly to venue mains. Confirm the supplied power equipment, input ratings, regional plug and connection instructions for either order. Do not infer daisy-chain compatibility from the cord or adapter shape.
Match light color and mounts to the actual display
The BOOTH LIGHTS model offers a choice at purchase, not an on-site CCT switch. Its 3000K or 4500K variants may be useful if those colors match an already tested display. The compared Displays2Go model may fit a project needing its stated cool-white range and a pair of fixtures. Neither setting is automatically right or wrong for food, jewelry, clothing or technology.
Evaluate real prints and product samples under the intended lighting. Measure the mounting member's width, shape, thickness and load capacity; check clamp contact, arm clearance, aiming and cable strain relief. Test both sides and viewing positions where possible. A similar maximum clamp opening does not prove equal fit or complete-stand stability.
Compare current delivered cost and support
Use current quotations for the same required quantity, currency and destination. Compare the actual basket total including adapters, mounting parts, delivery, taxes or duties and any venue work. Divide by the number of fixtures actually supplied when checking unit cost. If a two-pack leaves a spare fixture, record it rather than assuming the purchase exactly matches the planned count. A 10×10 ft booth does not automatically require two lamps.
Do not rely on an old percentage saving or use watts as value for money. Ask both sellers for the applicable warranty duration, covered faults, exclusions, claim process, replacement availability and return-shipping responsibility. An omitted warranty statement on one product page is not proof that no warranty exists, nor evidence of poorer reliability. Confirm stock, dispatch and receiving deadlines separately from the show date.
Check documents, then choose the fit
For either model, obtain the documentation that covers the exact fixture, power supply, plug and supplied configuration. Confirm current event requirements with the organizer or electrical provider. A missing UL or ETL mention on a listing does not prove absence of certification; a certification name alone does not prove venue acceptance. See the UL and ETL documentation guide.
Choose after resolving the output basis, frame fit, light color, electrical documents, delivered cost and support. There is no demonstrated overall brand winner here. Send the frame dimensions, display layout, destination and deadline for BOOTH LIGHTS model questions, or request a current volume quotation.
