Planning a curved printed app-graphic lightbox for Payroll Congress? Compare internal LED bars for the physical graphic behind your software demonstration. Phone-shaped artwork, pale interface panels and curved branding need a full-depth sample; a printed screen image is illuminated by the lightbox, while a live demo monitor uses its own display system.
Check the light path through the curve before choosing bar quantity
Map the actual curved frame section, braces and changing distance between the lens and printed face. Identify the straight mounting segments available for rigid bars; do not bend an LED bar to match the graphic. Test a representative curved section with phone outlines and pale interface artwork, then inspect the inside and outside of the curve for bright bands, dark gaps and distorted small details.
Evaluate the printed app graphic from both approach directions
Check the lit print from each aisle approach and from the demo position. Keep the finished graphic and monitor in their intended locations so a screen reflection is not mistaken for a lightbox fault. Record the approved bar positions, fixed CCT and material. Route driver cables through accessible spaces behind the curve without covering lenses or reducing the usable cavity.
Compare LED lightbox sources
- Linkable edge-lit bars: DC24V; 212mm/9W, 319mm/14W or 480mm/20W, with standard 20° × 60° optics. Select a length for each clear mounting section. Maximum five compatible bars per run depends on the actual cable and connector arrangement.
- 7W mini edge-lit bar: DC24V, 200 × 23 × 16mm, 770lm, standard 20° × 60° optics. Compare it for shorter return sections; a Molex 5557 / Mini-Fit Jr. family designation does not establish a matching connector pinout.
- 20W rigid edge-lit bar: DC24V, 470 × 24 × 16mm including the lens, 2200lm ±10%, 10° × 40° optics. Compare its light path with the usable cavity and brace locations. More output does not by itself establish even illumination.
Can I bend a rigid LED bar around a curved Payroll Congress lightbox?
No. Use suitable straight mounting sections with the manufacturer's fixing method, or discuss a specifically designed alternative. The curve changes optical distances and shadow risks, so test source positions with the actual printed face. The flexible appearance of a fabric graphic does not make a rigid LED bar bendable.
Does the same LED spacing work on the straight and curved parts of my backdrop?
Not automatically. The curve can change the face-to-source distance and the position of supports. Test both sections and their transition with the final printed material before fixing a repeated spacing.
Will these modules improve the brightness of my live payroll software demo screen?
They illuminate a printed lightbox graphic, not the pixels of a monitor. Adjust the monitor through its own system and review reflections separately. Specify lightbox bars only for the compatible physical graphic enclosure.
Before ordering
Confirm the frame owner permits component installation. Check bar length, lens height, mounting points, pinout and polarity against the actual frame section. Provide a compatible external DC24V constant-voltage driver and calculate each permitted run's load. Obtain the organizer's current stand and electrical requirements independently; these components are not an included booth service.
Send the curved section drawing or radius, clear mounting lengths, final phone-graphic print, monitor position and quantity. Compare all 26 LED Modules products below and request a tested component layout and quote for your own lightbox build.
