Orbus University offers dealer training and hands-on display assembly, including lightboxes. If you are exploring an independently designed indoor lightbox after learning about display systems, use this collection to compare LED components for your own build. All LED Modules are available below.
Choose the illumination approach for your own frame
Start with a section drawing showing the face, cavity, rear panel and usable mounting positions. Edge-lit bars send light across the cavity from the frame edge; rear-backlight bars sit behind the graphic. Their optics and mounting arrangements differ, so choose candidates from the construction rather than a demonstration’s appearance.
Build an independent evaluation sample
Use your proposed frame and actual graphic with a documented LED layout and suitable separate power and controls. Review illumination, mechanical fit, wiring access and the finished face together. Keep the selected model and options in the sample record. A small trial is a starting point; repeat the review if the production geometry changes.
Compare LED lightbox sources
- 20W rigid edge-lit bar: 470×24×16mm including lens, DC24V, 2200lm ±10% and 10°×40° optics.
- 12W dual-CCT rear-backlight bar: DC24V, 1320lm, 180° beam and 3-wire JST; select the CCT pair and separate control.
- 10W slim edge-lit bar: 360×23×16mm including lens, DC24V, 1100lm and 9°×50° optics.
Are these authorized replacement LED bars for Orbus display systems?
No authorized replacement status or universal Orbus compatibility is claimed. This collection supports independent component enquiries. For an existing proprietary display, identify its exact construction and obtain a compatibility review before proposing changes.
Before ordering
Verify DC24V, total load, pinout and polarity; external power is separate. The dual-CCT bar also requires a compatible 3-wire switch or controller, not included. The featured slim 10W bar permits at most 6 per run after wiring checks; do not apply that limit to other models.
Send your own frame section, graphic material, lighting approach, candidate models, sample observations and required quantities through our contact page.
