Farnborough International Airshow brings together aerospace and defence exhibitors. This selection is for independent builders evaluating internal lighting in curved or segmented indoor graphic lightboxes.
Map the curved graphic to individual lighting sections
Use the actual frame cross-section to mark the clearance behind the graphic, joints and changes in direction. A rigid light bar needs a straight mounting surface with space for its connector and cable. Assess each section separately, then test the combined graphic for bright bands or dark transitions near curves and joints.
Retain the lighting reference when the stand is reconfigured
Record the tested mounting position, module orientation, print material and driver with the section drawing. When a reusable exhibit changes shape, check the changed depth and joints instead of assuming that the original lighting layout still works. Keep wiring accessible without pulling on the graphic or forcing a connector around a curved corner.
Compare LED lightbox sources
- 20W rigid edge-lit bar: 470×24×16mm including lens, DC24V, 2200lm ±10% and 10°×40° optics.
- 12W dual-CCT rear-backlight bar: DC24V, 1320lm, 180° beam and 3-wire JST; select the CCT pair and separate control.
- 10W slim edge-lit bar: 360×23×16mm including lens, DC24V, 1100lm and 9°×50° optics.
Can rigid light bars be bent to follow a curved frame?
Do not bend a rigid light bar or assume it fits a proprietary frame. Select mounting positions and components from the actual dimensions, electrical requirements and manufacturer specifications. This selection concerns indoor graphic lightboxes; it does not qualify a module for aircraft, outdoor-airshow or safety-critical lighting.
Before ordering
Verify DC24V, total load, pinout and polarity; external power is separate. The dual-CCT bar also requires a compatible 3-wire switch or controller, not included. The featured slim 10W bar permits at most 6 per run after wiring checks; do not apply that limit to other models.
Send your curved-frame cross-section, straight mounting lengths, graphic material and cable-clearance drawing to discuss samples before selecting a layout.
