Record the print sample and its drying instructions
Label the media reference, ink process and print job. Follow the current printer, ink and media instructions for drying before applying or assembling the face. Record the sample’s condition when tested; a sample assessed at a different production stage is not a like-for-like reference.
Evaluate the prepared face in the intended lightbox
Once the print is ready for assembly, test it with the proposed LED layout and supply. Keep print preparation and lighting changes separate in the acceptance record. If either changes, review the assembled sample again rather than relying on the earlier illuminated reference.
Compare LED lightbox sources
- 20W rigid edge-lit bar: 470×24×16mm including lens, DC24V, 2200lm ±10% and 10°×40° optics.
- 12W dual-CCT rear-backlight bar: DC24V, 1320lm, 180° beam and 3-wire JST; select the CCT pair and separate control.
- 10W slim edge-lit bar: 360×23×16mm including lens, DC24V, 1100lm and 9°×50° optics.
Can a stronger LED module replace the required print-drying step?
No. LED output does not establish that printed media is ready to assemble. Follow material instructions and verify the finished combination physically. These are internal light sources for independently specified lightboxes, not printer-drying parts or replacement components approved for Victory Design’s finished displays.
Before ordering
Verify DC24V, total load, pinout and polarity; external power is separate. The dual-CCT bar also requires a compatible 3-wire switch or controller, not included. The featured slim 10W bar permits at most 6 per run after wiring checks; do not apply that limit to other models.
