Tie the physical face to the released cut file
Give the cut file a revision reference and label the matching face or retained sample. Record the material reference and final cut outline beside the lighting trial. A drawing thumbnail cannot establish which face was actually tested; preserve the file reference and the assembly result together.
Review changed contours before repeating an LED layout
If a cut outline, aperture or fixing position changes, flag the change during the handoff from fabrication to assembly. Check the representative finished face with the proposed LED layout and available clearance. Keep the previous result separately; obtain a fresh assembly approval before repeating production.
