Building a printed lightbox or illuminated arch for an independent exhibit at The Buildings Show in Toronto? Compare all 26 LED Modules products for your own frame design. This selection focuses on installing and accessing the internal light source when frame joints and covers determine the assembly sequence.
Place the lighting components in the joint assembly sequence
Mark joint plates, fasteners and covers on the frame section, then show when the LED bar, connector and cable would be installed. Check whether tightening the specified joint or fitting its cover removes the tool access needed for the lighting components. Use only mounting locations permitted by the frame designer. Keep structural joints separate from LED fixings; a light-source installation must not require loosening a load-bearing connection after the arch is assembled.
Repeat the trial with the joint hardware and graphic fitted
Assemble the intended joint hardware and covers before judging the illuminated print. Check for shadows from joint plates, trapped cables and connector access at the agreed service opening. Record the accepted installation order with the LED model and frame drawing. Repeat the trial if a joint cover or mounting position changes. For a frame with straight and curved sections, select and test each source location independently rather than bending a rigid LED bar to follow the arch.
Compare LED lightbox sources
- 20W rigid edge-lit bar: 470×24×16mm including lens, DC24V, 2200lm ±10% and 10°×40° optics.
- 12W dual-CCT rear-backlight bar: DC24V, 1320lm, 180° beam and 3-wire JST; select the CCT pair and separate control.
- 10W slim edge-lit bar: 360×23×16mm including lens, DC24V, 1100lm and 9°×50° optics.
Do these modules replace the lighting in every proprietary arch kit?
No. They are internal light sources, not structural arch parts or universal kit replacements. Confirm the actual frame's mounting permission, component space and electrical requirements. A supplier's lightbox-arch application does not establish BOOTH LIGHTS compatibility with that supplier's system.
Before ordering
Verify DC24V, total load, pinout and polarity; external power is separate. The dual-CCT bar also requires a compatible 3-wire switch or controller, not included. The featured slim 10W bar permits at most 6 per run after wiring checks; do not apply that limit to other models.
Send the frame section, joint and cover drawing, proposed assembly order and printed sample to discuss LED component options and a trial layout.
