Reece Supply serves sign manufacturers and hosts branch open houses with vendor demonstrations. For lightbox builders comparing components around these events, this collection focuses on service-port reach: whether an installer can disconnect, release and remove the chosen LED bar after the cabinet is assembled.
Map the service opening before choosing a lightbox LED bar
Start with the opening that the finished lightbox will actually provide. Sketch the access panel, internal frame rails and cable entry, then mark the proposed connector and fixing positions. Check hand and tool access with the power isolated. A connector visible through an opening may still be unreachable behind a rail; record the release direction and the space needed to grip its latch.
Trial the removal path, not just the installed position
Use the intended bar dimensions and a physical mock-up to check whether the component can pass through the opening without bending the bar or loading its cables. Include connector bodies, cable slack and any removable mount in this trial. Keep the approved route and mounting arrangement with the assembly drawing so a later component change triggers another access check.

- 20W rigid edge-lit bar: 470×24×16mm including lens, DC24V, 2200lm ±10% and 10°×40° optics.
- 12W dual-CCT rear-backlight bar: DC24V, 1320lm, 180° beam and 3-wire JST; select the CCT pair and separate control.
- 10W slim edge-lit bar: 360×23×16mm including lens, DC24V, 1100lm and 9°×50° optics.
Does a matching DC voltage make a lightbox LED bar a direct replacement?
No. Compare dimensions, lens clearance, mounting, connectors, polarity and the complete power arrangement before ordering. A bar that fits inside the cabinet may not pass through its service opening. Verify the candidate in a representative assembly; do not assume interchangeability with another supplier’s retrofit system.
Before ordering
Verify DC24V, total load, pinout and polarity; external power is separate. The dual-CCT bar also requires a compatible 3-wire switch or controller, not included. The featured slim 10W bar permits at most 6 per run after wiring checks; do not apply that limit to other models.
Browse the full LED Modules selection below. Send the cabinet depth, service-opening dimensions, access-side photos and required connector arrangement to discuss candidates and confirm the current product specifications before purchase.
