The NATDA Trailer Show brings together trailer dealers, manufacturers and suppliers. This selection helps independent exhibit builders compare internal LED sources for printed lightbox frames intended to be used in different display orientations.
Treat a change of orientation as a new component-layout review
Where a frame is designed for both overhead and floor-standing use, draw the intended configuration before selecting its light sources. Identify how module fasteners, cable entries and external-driver positions will be accessed in that orientation. Check the available space behind each printed face; reusing a frame does not establish that its previous module layout and cable routing remain suitable.
Repeat the sample in the intended display configuration
Test the actual graphics, backing and LED spacing with the proposed mounting arrangement. Label the accepted orientation, module positions and connector access in the component record. If conversion moves the sources, supply or cable passages, repeat the affected sample and review the wiring arrangement before assembly. Retain separate installation information for each approved configuration instead of applying one unlabelled layout to both.
Compare LED lightbox sources
- 20W rigid edge-lit bar: 470×24×16mm including lens, DC24V, 2200lm ±10% and 10°×40° optics.
- 12W dual-CCT rear-backlight bar: DC24V, 1320lm, 180° beam and 3-wire JST; select the CCT pair and separate control.
- 10W slim edge-lit bar: 360×23×16mm including lens, DC24V, 1100lm and 9°×50° optics.
Do these LED modules make a hanging frame safe to use on the floor?
The modules are light sources, not conversion hardware or structural approval. Have the frame, supports and intended installation reviewed separately; any supplier's conversion kit or existing frame requires its own suitability check. Confirm the chosen module's electrical and mounting requirements for the lightbox.
Before ordering
Verify DC24V, total load, pinout and polarity; external power is separate. The dual-CCT bar also requires a compatible 3-wire switch or controller, not included. The featured slim 10W bar permits at most 6 per run after wiring checks; do not apply that limit to other models.
Send the intended orientation, frame section, module fasteners and cable-entry drawing to discuss a component sample.
