IGAS brings together graphic arts and printing technologies. Its print-gallery applications include backlit posters with front and reverse images. This collection helps print-display builders choose internal LED modules for an independent poster lightbox and test the finished graphic before ordering.
Choose lighting for the printed poster, not just its size
Start with the final translucent print, clear mounting spans and distance from LEDs to the face. Compare samples using the same LED layout and driver, so a printing difference is not confused with a lighting change. Our 26-product LED Modules range offers several lengths and optical layouts; select from the actual enclosure.
Compare LED bars for the approved printed fabric
- DC24V linkable edge-lit bars: 212mm/9W, 319mm/14W or 480mm/20W for modular lightbox builds.
- 12W/18W DC24V MODULAP lightbox module: 470mm edge-lighting format for compatible fabric frames; verify the connector and fit.
- 20W DC24V rigid lightbox bar: 470mm, 2200lm ±10%, for tested indoor SEG and illuminated-sign layouts.
- 7W DC24V compact lightbox bar: 200mm, 770lm, 200×23×16mm body for short frame sections. Check the Molex 5557 / Mini-Fit Jr. connector family, mating pinout and fit before replacement.
Will brighter LEDs fix a doubled image in a backlit poster?
No. Check front-to-back image orientation and registration first. Increasing output cannot align printed layers. Inspect fine text and dense ink areas with the light both on and off, then adjust LED spacing using the same approved print sample.
Which LED bar suits a compact poster lightbox?
The 200 mm 7W edge-lit bar and 212 mm 9W linkable bar are candidates where their mounting length and optics suit the frame. Measure depth, lens clearance and connectors before choosing. Longer bars need matching clear spans; a wattage label alone does not establish uniformity.
What should I send for a lightbox LED recommendation?
Send lit width and height, internal depth, mounting drawing, front and reverse print samples, viewing distance, connector photos and driver labels. Confirm DC24V polarity and total load. These components illuminate display graphics; they are not printer curing lamps or a certified color-proofing system.
Before ordering
LED Modules illuminate a printed face inside a lightbox; they are not complete signs. Confirm connector polarity, driver capacity, thermal conditions and connection limits. Check the selected bar length and product pack quantity. Do not assume outdoor or moisture suitability from a retrofit application.
Send cabinet photos, internal dimensions, frame drawings, the existing driver specification and proposed product links through our contact page to discuss a trial selection.
