FASTSIGNS Outside Sales Summit connects sign professionals and vendor partners. Browse all LED Modules for your own indoor lightbox and review the assembled graphic from the positions your customer will use.
Mark the viewing positions
Use one assembled sample, fixed lighting and the same graphic. Mark a straight-on position and relevant left and right approach positions. Record distance, eye height and what is visible at each position.
Compare LED candidates with the same positions
Repeat the review after each documented LED layout change. Keep viewing positions and ambient conditions consistent. Record observations separately from camera images; automatic camera exposure can change the apparent result.
Compare LED lightbox sources
- 20W rigid edge-lit bar: 470×24×16mm including lens, DC24V, 2200lm ±10% and 10°×40° optics.
- 12W dual-CCT rear-backlight bar: DC24V, 1320lm, 180° beam and 3-wire JST; select the CCT pair and separate control.
- 10W slim edge-lit bar: 360×23×16mm including lens, DC24V, 1100lm and 9°×50° optics.
Does an LED lens angle define the sign’s readable viewing range?
No. Lens specifications describe the LED optics, not a guaranteed viewing range for the completed graphic. Review the face, frame and assembly from actual approach positions.
Before ordering
Verify DC24V, total load, pinout and polarity; external power is separate. The dual-CCT bar also requires a compatible 3-wire switch or controller, not included. The featured slim 10W bar permits at most 6 per run after wiring checks; do not apply that limit to other models.
