Do I need new LEDs whenever I replace the fabric graphic?
Not automatically. If the frame, electrical requirements and lighting arrangement remain suitable, assess the new print with the existing source first. A new graphic alone does not establish a need to replace functioning LEDs.
Why can a new backlit graphic look dimmer with the same LEDs?
Different print media, ink coverage and graphic colours can transmit light differently. Compare the actual new print in the assembled box before changing module output or spacing; check the illuminated image, not the bare LED alone.
