A lot of LED suppliers talk about brightness and quality. Fewer of them can show you the actual numbers from an independent lab.
We had our LED lightbox modules tested by the National Testing Center for LED Application Products — a CNAS-accredited laboratory in China. Here's what the report found, and what those numbers actually mean for your display.
The test results
The module was tested at its rated operating voltage of DC 24V. Here's what came back:

What these numbers mean in practice
869.5 lm from a 10W module
That's 90.8 lm/W — which is a solid efficiency figure for a DC 24V lightbox module. For context, a lot of cheaper modules claim high lumen numbers but measure significantly lower when tested independently. 869.5 lm is the actual measured output, not a marketing figure.
6632K color temperature
This puts the module firmly in cool white territory — close to daylight. For fabric lightboxes and SEG displays, cool white is usually the right call. It makes graphics look crisp and colors pop, especially blues, whites, and greens. If your brand uses warmer tones, you'd want a different module — but for most trade show and exhibition applications, 6500K range is the standard.
Ra 77.9
This is the one number worth being honest about. Ra 77.9 is decent for a lightbox backlight — the light is passing through a fabric graphic, so the CRI of the module itself matters less than it would for a spotlight shining directly on a product. For illuminating printed graphics, Ra 78 is perfectly adequate. If you're lighting jewelry or cosmetics directly, you'd want CRI 90+ — but that's a different product category.
15° × 60° beam angle
This asymmetric beam is designed specifically for edge-lit or back-lit lightbox applications. The narrow 15° axis concentrates light across the depth of the lightbox, while the 60° axis spreads it evenly across the width. The result is uniform illumination across the fabric face — no hot spots, no dark edges.
Why we had it tested
Honestly, because buyers ask. And they should. The LED module market has a lot of products where the spec sheet and the actual performance don't match. An independent lab report is the simplest way to show that what we say on the product page is what you actually get.
The test was conducted by a CNAS-accredited facility — CNAS is China's national accreditation body, and labs with CNAS accreditation are recognized under the ILAC mutual recognition arrangement, which covers most major markets including Europe and North America.

Common questions
Is Ra 77.9 good enough for a trade show lightbox?
For illuminating printed fabric graphics, yes. The light is diffused through the fabric, which softens any CRI limitations. If you're using the module to directly light products or people, you'd want higher CRI — but for backlit displays, Ra 78 is the industry norm.
