Most trade show booths run fine on 21W arm lights. But for larger displays — 20x20 island booths, double-deck structures, automotive showrooms, or any setup where you need serious brightness across a wide area — 21W isn't always enough.
That's what the 50W arm light is for.
The certification
The 50W Linkable LED Display Arm Light carries ETL certification from Intertek, tested against the same standards as our 21W model:
- UL 2108 — Low Voltage Lighting Systems
- UL 8750 — LED Equipment for Use in Lighting Products
- CSA C22.2 No. 250.0-08 & No. 9.0 — Canadian luminaire standards
Location rating: Dry and Damp. Accepted at US and Canadian trade show venues wherever NRTL certification is required.

5,000 lm from a single arm light
The 50W model produces 5,000 lm — roughly double the output of the 21W (2,400 lm). That's a meaningful difference when you're trying to light a large booth evenly, or when you're competing for attention on a busy show floor where neighboring booths are running high-output fixtures.
It runs on DC 24V and is linkable — up to 10 units per chain from a single power source, same as the 21W. So for a large island booth, you can run a full chain of 50W lights without needing a separate outlet for each one.
When to use the 50W vs the 21W

The 21W is the right call for most standard booths. The 50W is for situations where you genuinely need more output and the booth size justifies it.
Linkable up to 10 units
Like the 21W, the 50W arm light is designed for daisy chain setups. One power connection, up to 10 lights in a chain. For a 20x20 booth running 8 lights, that's one cable to the power strip instead of eight. Setup is faster, cable management is cleaner, and the booth looks more professional as a result.

Common questions
Is the 50W light too bright for a standard 10x10 booth?
Probably. 5,000 lm in a small space can create glare and wash out product details. For a 10x10, the 21W (2,400 lm) is the better fit. Save the 50W for larger setups where the output is actually needed.
Can I mix 21W and 50W lights in the same chain?
No. Different wattages draw different current, which causes uneven brightness and can stress the power adapter. Keep each chain to a single model.
What power supply do I need for a chain of 50W lights?
DC 24V, sized for the total wattage plus a 20% safety margin. For example, 6 × 50W = 300W total; use a 360W+ power supply. Contact us if you need help speccing the right power setup for your booth.
Is ETL certification accepted at Canadian trade shows?
Yes. The certification includes CSA C22.2 standards, so it's valid in Canada as well as the US.
