An 11W light can reduce fixture wattage when its output suits the display. For a show in Europe or South Africa, choose from the actual lighting task, power-service terms and destination requirements. Low wattage alone does not establish brightness, savings or venue approval.
Compare the exact model and useful light
This 11W linkable model lists 1100–1210 lm and CRI 90+. Choose one fixed CCT range at purchase: 2800–3200K, 4500–4700K or 6500–7000K; it does not switch colour temperature on site. Its published input is AC85–265V. Verify the delivered label, frequency, plug and required protective measures rather than assuming worldwide compatibility.
The 25W Tri-CCT model lists 2500 lm, so the two are not equal-output replacements. Test the real graphics and products at the mounting distance, including edges, reflections and glare. CRI 90+ does not guarantee every colour. Choose quantities from the tested layout, not the booth floor area.
Check how the event bills for power
For illustration, six fixtures rated 11W total 66W; six rated 25W total 150W. These are nominal fixture totals, not proof of equal illumination, complete mains consumption or permission to use a circuit. Compare complete input ratings, other loads and starting requirements with the event’s electrical provider.
Read the current order form: a connection, capacity band or fixed package may cost the same after reducing watts. Where charges depend on energy, estimate kWh from measured average input watts × operating hours ÷ 1000. Include preparation and show hours. Compare the full delivered and operated kit; a higher-output layout might need a different quantity.
Confirm links and frame compatibility
The 11W model specifies a maximum of eight compatible fixtures per approved run, using its IEC C7/C8 Figure-8 linking system. Eight is a model limit, not permission to load every outlet: the lowest applicable plug, cable, connector, circuit or venue limit governs.
Measure the frame profile and clamp opening, confirm the support’s approved load and follow mounting instructions. A tool-free clamp is not a guarantee of fit or load capacity. Record the selected fixtures, cables and positions for the installation.
Prepare documents for the destination
For an EU destination, request the EU Declaration of Conformity and supporting information matching the exact model and variant. CE marking is the manufacturer’s statement of conformity to applicable EU requirements; it does not replace event-specific acceptance. Confirm the destination market rather than treating all of Europe as one set of rules.
For South Africa, do not interpret SAA as South African approval. SAA Approvals certifies against Australian and New Zealand standards. Ask the importer and NRCS which compulsory specifications and Letter of Authority procedures apply to the exact product before importing. Obtain the event’s requirements separately.
Allow time for the actual order
Confirm availability, chosen CCT, plug, mounting kit, shipping, customs and the installation deadline in the quote. A fixed delivery estimate or free-shipping claim is not a commitment for every destination. Rehearse the complete kit before travel and inspect it again after transport. Send the layout, quantity, destination and show date through our contact page for a configuration-specific quote.
