Document the existing cabinet before choosing replacement LEDs
Record the frame’s internal depth, mounting surfaces, bar length, connector and power-supply label. Keep a reference print to compare the old and proposed lighting. A similar-looking plug does not establish the correct polarity or electrical match. Have the existing supply and wiring checked before a replacement trial; these products use DC24V and require compatible components.
Compare one converted frame before extending the retrofit
Build one trial using the selected LED model and fixed color temperature. Inspect corners, the center and the graphic at the normal viewing distance. Check mounting clearance, cable reach and access for future replacement. Different lenses and output levels can change the required layout, so retain the approved drawing rather than copying the old spacing automatically. Match the light source across one cabinet.

- DC24V linkable edge-lit bars: 212mm/9W, 319mm/14W or 480mm/20W for modular lightbox builds.
- 20W DC24V rigid lightbox bar: 470mm, 2200lm ±10%, for tested indoor SEG and illuminated-sign layouts.
- 7W DC24V compact lightbox bar: 200mm, 770lm, 200×23×16mm body for short frame sections. Check the Molex 5557 / Mini-Fit Jr. connector family, mating pinout and fit before replacement.
Can I keep the existing frame and driver?
Possibly, after a fit and electrical assessment. The frame must provide suitable space and mounting, and the driver must match the DC24V load and installation conditions. No compatibility with an unidentified frame or supply is implied. Test the chosen build before ordering parts for several signs.

LED Modules illuminate a printed face inside a lightbox; they are not complete signs. Confirm connector polarity, driver capacity, thermal conditions and connection limits. Check the selected bar length and product pack quantity. Do not assume outdoor or moisture suitability from a retrofit application.
