Exhibition Display Spotlights

An exhibition display spotlight is a narrow-beam LED spotlight that is clamped onto exhibition displays, stand systems, and display frames to specifically highlight individual products, exhibits, or signage elements. Unlike an arm light (which positions light via an arm) and a floodlight (which illuminates a large area evenly), the display spotlight creates a concentrated circle of light with a defined beam angle.

Beam Angle and Effect

The beam angle determines how large the illuminated area on the display is and how strong the contrast between the illuminated and unilluminated areas will be.

15–25° (Spot): Very narrow light circle, high contrast. For individual products, jewelry, electronics, and small exhibits where maximum attention should be drawn to a specific object.

30–45° (Narrow Flood): Medium light circle, moderate contrast. For product groups, signage elements, and areas that should be highlighted but not isolated.

Display Spotlight vs. Arm Light: When to choose which product?

Choose a display spotlight if you want to highlight a specific product or exhibit in isolation and contrast with the surroundings is important. Choose an arm light if you need to direct light away from the clamping point via an arm or require broader illumination of an area. Many exhibitors combine both: arm lights for general illumination, display spotlights for accents.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which beam angle should I choose for my exhibition stand?

For individual products on a shelf: 15–25°. For signage elements and logo areas: 25–36°. For general accent lighting without strong contrast: 36–45°.

Can I combine display spotlights and arm lights on the same stand?

Yes, and this is the recommended approach for professional exhibition presentations. Arm lights provide general illumination for graphic areas and product zones, while display spotlights place targeted accents on highlight products and brand messages.
