Long Arm Exhibition Light — Extended Reach LED Lights for Large Exhibition Stands

Long Arm Exhibition Light

A long arm exhibition light is designed for situations where a standard-length arm cannot bridge the gap between your clamp point and your target area. Wide graphic panels, deep product shelves, island booth configurations, and tall display systems all create this gap — and a long arm solves it without repositioning your entire lighting setup.

When You Need a Long Arm

Wide inline panels (10x20 and larger): A standard 20–30 cm arm mounted at the panel edge may not reach the center of a wide graphic. A 50–60 cm long arm covers the full panel width from a single clamp point.

Deep product shelving: If your exhibition stand includes shelving that extends 30+ cm from the panel face, a short arm light will illuminate the shelf front but leave the back in shadow. A long arm reaches over and down into the shelf.

Island booths with overhead rigging restrictions: Some venues restrict overhead lighting. A long arm mounted at standing height can replicate a downlight effect by extending out and angling down over a product display.

Tall backdrop systems: For displays taller than 2.5 m, a long arm mounted near the top of the frame can wash the lower two-thirds of the graphic from above.

Long Arm vs. Standard Arm: Key Differences

Standard arm (20–30 cm): Sufficient for 10x10 booths, close-range panel lighting, and banner stands. Lighter, more compact for transport.

Long arm (40–60 cm): Required for 10x20+ booths, deep shelving, wide panels, and island configurations. Slightly heavier but still within single-person setup capability.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far does a long arm exhibition light reach?

BOOTH LIGHTS long arm models reach 40–60 cm from the clamp point, measured along the arm centerline. This is approximately double the reach of our standard arm models.

Is a long arm light harder to set up than a standard arm?

No. Setup is identical: open the clamp, position on the frame, tighten, then adjust the arm angle and head direction. The additional arm length adds no complexity to the process.

Will a long arm light sag or drift during a show?

No. The friction lock at the arm pivot is rated for the additional torque created by the longer arm. The head position holds throughout a full show day.

Can I use long arm lights on a 10x10 booth?

You can, but it is usually unnecessary. Long arm lights are optimized for 10x20 and larger configurations. For a 10x10 booth, a standard arm provides sufficient reach with less visual bulk.
